FollowCue は、あなたのデータを収集しません。名刺・連絡先・メモ・録音・写真などはすべてあなたの端末の中だけに保存されます。アカウント登録も不要です。
例外は1つだけです。あなたが自分の連絡先を「リンクで渡す」ときに限り、その中身（名刺や顔の画像を含みます）を端末の中で暗号化してから一時的に預けます。復号の鍵はリンクの中にあり、私たちには届きません＝預かった側も中身を読めません。くわしくは第4-2項に書いています。
FollowCue Premium で Gmail・Googleカレンダーを連携した場合の扱いは第11項に書いています。
1. 収集する情報
ありません。FollowCue は利用者の個人情報を集めません・見ません・第三者に渡しません。アプリ内のデータ（名前・会社・連絡先・話したこと・録音・名刺写真・場所など）は、すべて端末内のストレージにのみ保存されます。あなたが人に渡すために自分から操作したときだけ、その中身を暗号化した形で預けます（第4-2項）。暗号化された中身は私たちには読めず、アカウントや識別子とも結び付けません。
2. 名刺の読み取り（OCR）・音声
名刺の文字認識（OCR）は端末内で処理されます（iOSはApple Vision、AndroidはGoogle ML Kit）。音声の録音・文字起こしも端末内で行われます。読み取りや文字起こしのために、画像・音声・テキストを外部へ送ることはありません。（自分の名刺や顔の画像を「リンクで渡す」場合だけは第4-2項のとおり預けます。これはあなたが渡すために押したときだけです。）
3. AIによる文面の調整（任意）
お礼文を外部のAIで整えたい場合、あなた自身が文面をコピーしてAIアプリに貼り付けたときだけ、その文面が当該AIサービスに渡ります。FollowCue が自動でAIに送信することはありません。さらに、AIに渡す前に会社名・個人名を伏せ字に置き換える機能があり、送信前に内容を確認できます。外部AIの取り扱いは各サービスのプライバシーポリシーに従います。
4. QR・プロフィールリンクの共有
自分のQRコードやプロフィールリンクで連絡先を渡すとき、共有されるデータ（名前・公開リンクなど）はリンクの「#（フラグメント）」部分に載ります。フラグメントは仕様上サーバーに送信されないため、受け取りページを含め、私たちのサーバーが内容を見ることはありません。受け取った人の端末内でのみ復号・表示されます。
4-2. 短いリンクと画像（リンクや QR で渡すとき）
自分の連絡先をリンクや QR で渡すとき、URLが長くならないよう「短いリンク」を作ることがあります。また、あなたが自分で載せた「実物の名刺の画像」「顔写真」は、リンクに直接入れると開けない大きさになるため、同じ場所に預けます。このときだけ、あなたの端末の中で暗号化したデータを、私たちが借りている保管場所（Cloudflare）に置きます。
復号のための鍵は、リンクの「#（フラグメント）」の中にあります。フラグメントは仕様上サーバーに送信されないため、置いた側（私たち）も、中身を読むことはできません。読めるのは、そのリンクを受け取って開いた人の端末だけです。
預けるのは、あなたが「リンクで送る」を押したとき、「My QRを見せる」を開いたとき、または画像を自分で載せたときです。アプリを起動しただけでは作りません・預けません。設定の「リンクを短くする」をオフにすると、短いリンクも画像も一切預けず、これまでどおり長いリンク（データがすべて「#」に載る形・通信なし）だけを使います。
顔写真は、あなたが「載せる」を選んだときだけ載ります（既定はオフ）。実物の名刺・顔写真は、アプリから「外す」を押すと、預けた分も読めない形に上書きします。
会った相手の情報（相手の名刺の画像や顔写真を含みます）を受け取って表示するときも、同じ仕組みです。鍵はあなたが受け取ったリンクの中にあり、私たちのサーバーには届きません。
5. バックアップ
データの控えは、利用者ご自身のクラウド（iCloud 等）や、利用者が書き出したファイルで管理します。FollowCue は控えを預かるサーバーを持ちません。端末の紛失・初期化に備え、各自でバックアップしてください。
6. 解析・トラッキング・広告
使用していません。アクセス解析、行動トラッキング、広告SDK、サードパーティのトラッカーは一切組み込んでいません。
7. 権限（カメラ・マイク・写真）
名刺撮影・QR読み取り・音声メモ・写真の添付のためにのみ使用します。読み取り・保存・文字認識はすべて端末内で完結し、これらのために外部へ送ることはありません。あなたが自分の名刺や顔の画像を人に渡すと決めて操作したときだけ、第4-2項のとおり暗号化して預けます。
8. 第三者への提供
ありません（そもそも個人情報を収集していません）。
9. お子さまの利用
本アプリは13歳未満の子どもを対象としていません。
10. 改定
本ポリシーを変更する場合は、本ページを更新します。
11. Gmail・Googleカレンダーとの連携（FollowCue Premium）
FollowCue Premium では、あなたが「Googleでログイン」を選んで許可したときだけ、あなたのGoogleアカウントの Gmail と Googleカレンダーを使います。許可するまで、メールや予定を読むことはありません。
使う権限と目的
- Gmailの閲覧：受信一覧と、選んだ相手とのやり取りを表示するため。差出人・宛先・件名・本文・日時などを端末に取得します。この権限は、登録した連絡先のメールだけに限られません。
- Gmailでの送信：あなたが宛先と本文を確認して「送信」を押したメールを送るため。自動では送りません。
- Gmailの下書き保存（「Gmailの下書きに保存」を使う場合）：あなたが「Gmailの下書きに保存」を押したとき、その下書きをGmailに保存するため。この権限には送信も含まれますが、保存の操作では送信しません。
- Googleカレンダー：日程機能を使うときに、空いている時間から候補を作るため、カレンダーの一覧と予定のある時間帯を取得します。あなたが登録を押した予定を自分のカレンダーに保存し、FollowCueで登録した予定の確認にも使います。相手に招待は送りません。
処理する場所：Gmail・Googleカレンダーへは、あなたの端末からGoogleへ直接接続します。取得したメール・予定は端末の中で表示・処理し、FollowCueのサーバーに送ったり保存したりしません。Googleの認証情報は端末のKeychainに保存します。受信メールの分類や下書きづくりに端末内のAI（Apple の端末内モデル）を使う場合も、端末の中だけで処理します。
しないこと：Googleから受け取ったデータを、広告に使うこと、販売すること、AIモデルの学習に使うことはしません。運営者がメールや予定の内容を読むこともありません（あなたが問い合わせで内容を送って同意した場合、安全上・法令上必要な場合を除きます）。
Googleのポリシーへの準拠：Google APIから受け取った情報の利用と、他のアプリへの転送は、利用制限（Limited Use）の要件を含む Google API Services User Data Policy に従います。
連携の解除：アプリの「設定 → メール連携」で連携を解除すると、その端末に保存した認証情報を削除します。Google側の許可は、Googleアカウントの「サードパーティ製のアプリとサービス」からも取り消せます。Gmail・Googleカレンダーにあるメールや予定は、連携を解除しても削除されません。

FollowCue does not collect your data. Business cards, contacts, notes, recordings and photos are stored only on your device. No account is required.
There is one exception: only when you hand over your own contact by link, its contents (including card or face images) are encrypted on your device and placed temporarily in storage we rent. The decryption key stays in the link and never reaches us, so we cannot read the contents. See section 4-2.
For Gmail and Google Calendar in FollowCue Premium, see section 11.
1. Information we collect
None. FollowCue does not collect your personal data, and we cannot read what you hand over by link (see 4-2). All in-app data (names, companies, contacts, what you talked about, recordings, card photos, places) is stored solely in your device’s local storage.
2. Card scanning (OCR) and voice
Card text recognition (OCR) runs on your device (Apple Vision on iOS, Google ML Kit on Android). Voice recording and transcription also run on-device. Nothing is sent off the device in order to read or transcribe it. (The one exception is your own card or face photo when you choose to hand it over by link — see 4-2.)
3. Optional AI polish
If you want to refine a message with an external AI, the text is sent to that AI service only when you yourself copy it and paste it into the AI app. FollowCue never sends anything to an AI automatically. You can also mask company and personal names before sharing, and review the content before sending. External AI services are governed by their own privacy policies.
4. QR and profile-link sharing
When you share your contact via a QR code or profile link, the shared data (name, public links) is placed in the URL “#” fragment. By design the fragment is not sent to servers, so neither our servers nor the receiving page transmit its contents — it is decoded and shown only in the recipient’s browser.
4-2. Short links and images (when you hand over a link or QR)
When you hand over your contact by link or QR, FollowCue may create a “short link” so the URL isn’t unwieldy. And because a photo of your real business card or your face would make a link too large to open, those are kept in the same place. Only in those cases, data encrypted on your device is placed in storage we rent (Cloudflare).
The decryption key lives in the URL “#” fragment. By design the fragment is never sent to servers, so we cannot read the contents either — only the device that opens the link can.
Data is placed when you tap “Share link”, open “Show my QR”, or add an image yourself. Simply launching the app never creates or uploads anything. Turning off “Shorten links” in Settings means nothing — no short link, no image — is ever placed: FollowCue keeps using the long link, where all data sits in the “#” fragment and nothing is transmitted.
Your face photo is included only if you choose to add it (off by default). Removing a card or face photo in the app also overwrites what was placed, so it can no longer be decrypted.
Receiving someone else’s details — including their card or face photo — works the same way. The key lives in the link you received and never reaches our servers.
5. Backups
Backups are managed in your own cloud (e.g. iCloud) or via files you export. FollowCue has no server to hold your backups. Please back up your data to guard against loss or device reset.
6. Analytics, tracking, ads
None. No analytics, behavioral tracking, ad SDKs, or third-party trackers are included.
7. Permissions (camera, microphone, photos)
Used only for card capture, QR scanning, voice memos and attaching photos. Capture, storage and text recognition all happen on-device, and nothing is sent externally for those purposes. Only when you decide to hand your own card or face photo to someone is it encrypted and placed as described in 4-2.
8. Sharing with third parties
None (we do not collect personal data in the first place).
9. Children
This app is not directed to children under 13.
10. Changes
If this policy changes, we will update this page.
11. Gmail and Google Calendar (FollowCue Premium)
FollowCue Premium uses your Gmail and Google Calendar only after you choose “Sign in with Google” and grant access. We do not read any email or calendar data before you grant access.
What we access and why
- Read Gmail (gmail.readonly): to show your inbox and your conversations with a contact you choose. Sender, recipients, subject, body and date are fetched to your device. This permission is not limited to messages from your saved contacts.
- Send Gmail (gmail.send): to send a message only after you review the recipients and text and tap Send. FollowCue never sends email automatically.
- Gmail drafts (gmail.compose, only if you use “Save to Gmail drafts”): to save a draft to Gmail when you tap “Save to Gmail drafts”. This permission also allows sending, but saving a draft never sends it.
- Google Calendar: to suggest open times, we read your calendar list and busy times; when you tap Add, we create the event in your own calendar and later read back the events FollowCue created. FollowCue does not send invitations to other people.
Where it is processed: your device connects directly to Google. Email and calendar data is displayed and processed on your device and is never sent to or stored on FollowCue servers. Google sign-in credentials are stored in your device’s Keychain. When on-device AI (Apple’s on-device model) is used to sort incoming mail or draft a reply, it runs entirely on your device.
What we never do: we do not use data received from Google for advertising, do not sell it, and do not use it to train AI models. No person at FollowCue reads your email or calendar data, except with your explicit consent (for example, content you send us in a support request), for security purposes, or to comply with the law.
Google API Services User Data Policy: FollowCue’s use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Disconnecting: disconnecting in Settings → Mail deletes the credentials stored on that device. You can also revoke access from “Third-party apps & services” in your Google Account. Disconnecting does not delete email or events in Gmail or Google Calendar.
